For many, life has moved to emergency shelters opened across the state due to this natural calamity. They had everything until the disaster hit losing their beautiful homes, vehicles, and livelihood. A flood of this magnitude wiped off savings of a lifetime for many individuals in this beautiful coastal state. It’s been calculated the loss is north of 1.1 billion US Dollars (8,300 Crore INR). Full recovery from the disaster is definitely not a task of a few months or years.

Dear Sisters and Brothers, this community in Kerala needs immediate help to run their daily life until they could go back to their home and start rebuilding everything. NANMMA is launching this campaign to help the emergency shelters, hospitals, seniors, and small children who are the victims of this disaster.
